The Patriot Guard riders have been asked to stand in Honor of U.S. Navy World War ll Veteran, USS Indianapolis survivor Sam Lopez at Gypsy WV.  On July 30, 1945, the USS Indianapolis was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in the Philippine Sea and sank in 12 minutes.
