ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to provide escort, then stand in silent Honor and Respect for Cpl Billy J. Doughty, Jr., USMC WOT Veteran, for his final services on Friday, 01 Dec 17.

Cpl Doughty is a Veteran of two tours of duty in the Iraqi combat theater.

Our mission will consist of escorting Cpl Doughty from the funeral home in Clay, WV to the Donel C. Kinnard Veteran’s Cemetery in Dunbar, WV and standing a flag line for his interment services.

Special Instructions:

Please arrive as quietly as possible as services begin at 1100.

Briefing at 1115.

Upon conclusion of services, flag line will be set as Cpl Doughty is transferred to the hearse for his final journey.

Upon arrival at the cemetery, our flag line will be set and maintained until the conclusion of interment services.

Weather forecast is for partly cloudy skies with temperatures near 50 and a 90% chance of dry weather. Please dress and travel accordingly.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
