Once again the PGR has been invited to participate in the Veterans Day Program at Clay County High School, in Clay WV on Friday, Nov 6th. The Principal told me they are looking forward to us being there and that we are a big part of their program. If your schedule allows you to attend this program, you will not be disappointed.
As in year’s past, the school has invited us to arrive in time for lunch, and they have great cooks at CCHS! Before the program starts, we will do a flag line in the gymnasium for the Veterans and Guests. The flag line is an opportunity for the students learn about respect not only for the flag, but for the veterans who served our country. The keynote speaker for the program this year is WV State Police Chaplain, Jimmy Mitchell…a phenomenal speaker you will not want to miss.
If you are planning to attend, please send a private email to the RCs listed below; we need to provide a PGR “body count” to those who are providing lunch, and for the gym set-up. We need to let the school know how many are coming from our group, no-later-than Wednesday, Nov 4th.
