Please join us as we stand in silent Honor and Respect for First Sergeant Combat Engineer Michael Thomas Morris, 58, U S Army Veteran for his final services on Friday, 1 April 2022. Michael went to be with the Lord on Thursday 24, March 2022.

Retired as a First Sergeant Combat Engineer, Michael proudly served over twenty-five years (“twenty-five years, eight months and twenty-six days,” he would say) with distinction in the United States Army. As a decorated Veteran, 1SG Morris earned several awards and honors, to include: the Bronze De Fleury Medal, Bronze Star Medal (2nd), Saint Barbara Medal, SAPPER Spirit Award, Meritorious Service Medal (6th), Army Commendation Medal (6th), Army Achievement Medal (7th), Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal (3rd), Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (8th), National Defense Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, South West Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Combat Action Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge and Drive Mechanic Badge.
