Honor and Respect for George Junior Wolfe, 85 US Army Veteran a member of the Mountaineer Ambulance Service and a fifty-four-year member of the Fellowsville Volunteer Fire Department serving as safety officer, assistant chief and chief Corp. for his final services on Sunday, 29 January 2023. George went to be with the Lord on Monday, 23 January 2023.
He taught Fire Prevention and Safety to the students at Fellowsville Elementary School each year. George was Preston County’s King Fireman XLII in 1989. He served many years on the Preston County 911 Advisory Board. George was a member and Trustee of Mount Zion United Methodist Church. He was a retired school bus mechanic for Preston County Schools. George was a United States Army Veteran who served in Alaska. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family.
