The family of Frederick M. Dawson has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand in silent honor at the final services for their loved one on Monday, January 6th. “Fred” Dawson was a United States Air Force, Vietnam Veteran; his daughter, Freda, currently serves our nation, as a member of the 130th Airlift Wing here in Charleston.
This mission will consist of flag lines at the Grace Bible Church in Charleston, and at the Donel C. Kinard Memorial State Veteran’s Cemetery in Institute, WV; we will also be escorting to the cemetery. The weather forecast for Monday is calling for snow showers and temperatures in the upper teens…cages only, please. Due to the extreme cold, you can anticipate an indoor flag line at the church, but the interment ceremony at the cemetery will be outdoors- please dress appropriately.
