The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for one of our own, PO2 Thomas Ray (Tom) Mollohan, U.S. Navy Retired, for his final services and escort to his final rest on Saturday, 17 Jan 15.  Tom went to be with the Lord early in the morning on 14 Jan 15.

During his time in the PGR, Tom would always put forth the effort to attend each and every mission within what he felt was his safe travel distance.  It was not unusual to travel 2-3 hours to a mission only to find him already there.  Without a doubt, we will miss his smiling face.

Services will be held at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, WV (https://tinyurl.com/m533abg) beginning at 1100.  Interment will follow in Hartley Cemetery.

Although not an official part of our participation, friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, 16 Jan, from 1400-1600 and 1800-2000.  On-line condolences may be made at: https://www.lamberttatman.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=1499338.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to furnish 3 members to serve as pall bearers for one of our own.

WV District 3 RC Carl Spade (ace_gunsmith@hotmail.com) is the designated RCIC of this most honorable mission.

Staging for this most honorable mission will be in the parking lot of the Gihon Village Shopping Plaza located across the street from the funeral home (https://tinyurl.com/qfpkcgk).

Staging time: 0915-0930.

Mission brief: 0940.

KSU: 0945.

Flag line will be in place prior to 1000 and maintained until start of services at 1100.  At the conclusion of services, flag line will be set again as Tom is moved to the hearse for his final journey.  Escort to the cemetery WILL be provided.

Early weather is calling for overnight low on Friday of 25 with a 10% chance of precipitation.  Saturday’s forecast is for sunny skies and a high of 51.  PLEASE ensure you check the weather before departing for this mission, ensuring you dress and travel according to current conditions.  For anyone traveling on 2-wheels, be ever mindful of black ice as well as sand and cinders on the highway from recent snow showers.

If at all possible, please put forth the effort to attend this mission and stand for one of our own who so willingly stood for those we Honor and Respect.  It is now time for us to “pay it forward” and say “Thank You” and “God Speed” to one of our own.

Respects,

Joe
