    The family of Dana L. Nowlin has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand in silent honor for their loved one. Dana was a Cold War-era veteran of the US Air Force and US Army. He was activated for service during the Berlin Crisis. Dana and his wife were avid motorcyclists who traveled to 49 states over a period of 55 years.
