   The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for William E. Fischer, US Army, Vietnam Veteran, for his final services on 9 Nov 13.  William went to be with the Lord on Friday, 1 Nov. 

   He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War from January 1969 to March 1970, where he served as crew chief aboard UH 1 Huey’s Unit 134th AHC. He was awarded a Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Commendation Medal, Crew Chief Wings, Army Commendation with oak leaf cluster and 2 O/S Bars. 

   Services will be held on Saturday, 9 Nov, at the Raiguel Funeral Home, 1200 E. Main St., Harrisville, WV (https://tinyurl.com/o23dezq) beginning at 1100.

    Interment will follow in the Lewis Cemetery, 369 Fischer Lane, Petroleum, WV.  This is a family cemetery approximately 15 miles from the funeral home. Cemetery is located on a hill with a gravel entrance.  Kickstand plates are advised.

    WV RC Carl Spade is the RCIC.  

   Staging will be at 0930 at the funeral home.  Mission brief at 0945 with flag line in place NLT 1000.

    Please monitor the thread for updates on staging time and location.  If at all possible, understanding this is in a fairly remote location, please make a concerted effort to attend this most honorable mission.
