ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the final services and interment of SPC Nicholas “Nick” Caleb Jividen, U.S. Army, on Monday, 19 Nov 18, in Poca, WV. Nick went to be with the Lord on 06 Nov as the result of an armored vehicle training accident at Ft. Irwin, Loma Linda CA.

Nick was a signal analyst to Headquarters Support Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). His services spanned the gamut of Combat Support in Syria and Kuwait (CJS0TF-OIR) to contingency operations in Chile as part of larger SOUTHCOM initiatives to combat illicit trafficking of Special Interest Aliens, narcotics and radicalization across the continent.

His awards and decorations include the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.

Mission briefing at 0930.

KSU at 0945 for the short trip to the funeral home. At the funeral director’s request, we will arrive as a group in order for them to make parking accommodations.

Flag line will be set immediately upon arrival at Gatens-Hardings Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Poca, WV and will be maintained until the start of services at 1100.

At the conclusion of services, our flag line will be set for the dignified transfer to the hearse.

Escort WILL be provided to the Donel C. Kinnard State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.

Upon arrival at the cemetery, our flag line will be set and maintained for the duration of committal services.
