The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SSgt William A. “Bill” Cokeley, U.S. Air Force, Korean Veteran for his final services and internment on Friday, 19 Jun 15.  Bill went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 16 Jun.

Bill is the Grandfather of WV PGR member Heather Cumblidge and former Father-in-Law of WV State Captain Joe Cumblidge.

Services will be held at Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville, WV (https://tinyurl.com/opz3ky3) beginning at 1100.

West Virginia State Captain Joe Cumblidge (wvugo2001@suddenlink.net) is the Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable mission.

Staging will be in the parking lot located directly North of the Par Mar, 701 Chelsea St., Sistersville, WV (https://tinyurl.com/q42suu6).

Staging time will be at 0930.

Mission brief at 0945 with KSU at 0950.  Funeral home is located one (1) block South of the staging area.

Flag line will be in place NLT 1000 and maintained until start of services.

At the conclusion of services, our flag line will be set once again as Bill is moved to the hearse for his final journey.

Escort will be provided to Paden Memorial Gardens, North of Paden City, WV.  Cemetery is located approximately 5 miles from the funeral home.

Upon arrival, flag line will be set and maintained during graveside services.

Early weather is for mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-80’s and a 75% chance of showers.

Understanding this is a work day under less than ideal conditions, if at all possible, please try to be there as we say “Thank You” and “God Speed” to another of our Veterans from what is commonly known  The Forgotten War.
