The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SPC Jeremy Richard “JJ” Boggs, 21, U.S. Army, for his services on Sunday, 07 Aug.  JJ went to be in the Lord’s Army unexpectedly on 30 Jul 16.

Jeremy was a Soldier stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky., where he was a Specialist in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Battalion 327th Infantry. He was a member of the ABOVE THE REST FIST team. He did a tour in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He was also a Forward Observer (Fire Support Specialist).

Services will be held at Webster County High School, 1 Highlander Dr., Cowen, WV (https://tinyurl.com/gtpd24q) beginning at 1100.

West Virginia District Captain Randy Rice (440236.rr@gmail.com) is the designated Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable mission.

Staging will be at the high school at 0930.

Mission brief at 0945.

Flag line in place NLT 1000 and maintained until start of services.

At the conclusion of services, our flag line will be reset as JJ is moved to the hearse for his final journey.  Burial will follow at Handschumacher Cemetery, approximately ½ mile from the high school.

Weather forecast is for temperatures in the low 80’s with a 90% chance of sunshine.  Please dress and travel accordingly.

Won’t you join with us as we say “Thank You” and “God Speed” to one of our native sons taken from us much too soon.
