The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Sergeant Tony Sullivan who went to be with the Lord. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of an American Hero an avid biker and a personal friend. Sergeant Tony Sullivan died on January 24, 2014. Tony was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Following his four-year active service commitment, he continued with the Air Force Reserves for another 19 years. His family has requested that the PGR join them in honoring their loved one at his funeral service on January 28th, 2014. 

Funeral services will be held at the Aurora United Methodist Church, which is on US Rt 50 W (George Washington Highway) and passes through the community of Aurora. The church is at 24084 George Washington Hwy, just past the Aurora Post Office. The phone number is 304 735-3638.

Staging:
Because of the weather and lack of suitable staging area in the vicinity, the PGR will stage at the church location.

Staging time will be NO LATER THAN 0930. Their will be a viewing which starts at 10:00 a.m. until the services start which will be 11:00 a.m. Following the service, we will reassemble for the departure of guests. THERE WILL BE NO GRAVESITE SERVICE.

Flag Line will be in place, 28 January 2014 from 0945-1100 AND THEN AGAIN AT APPROXIMATELY 1200 TO 1230. 

Please bring your 3×5 flags if you have them.
Weather forecast indicates a cold day and the area has lots of snow. Leave your motorcycle in the garage. Cages only on this mission. Dress warm, as the weather is not cooperative.
