  The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Sgt Anthony “Tony” Bailey, US Army Reserves, during his final services on Wednesday, 3 July 13.  Tony went to be with the Lord on 29 Jun 13. 

   He served for 13 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and he worked for 25 years for Ingram Barge Company, where he served as senior mate. Tony’s passion was riding motorcycles.  Tony is also the cousin of WV PGR member, PJ Skidmore.

    Services will be held at Myers’ Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville, WV (https://tinyurl.com/nx6qg27) beginning at 1300.

    WV ASC-North, Ron Jones, is the RCIC of this most honorable mission.

    Staging will be at the funeral home at 1100.

 

    Mission brief will be at 1130 with flag line in place by 1150.

    Flag line will be maintained until start of services after which escort will be provided to the Friendly Cemetery in Friendly, WV.  Procession will be led by PJ Skidmore riding Tony’s bike at his wife’s request.

    Please ensure you have a kickstand plate as parking in the grass at the cemetery may be necessary.

    Weather forecast is for a 50% chance of showers with temperatures in the low 80’s.  Please dress and travel accordingly, ensuring you keep yourself properly hydrated.

    Understanding this is a workday, if at all possible please make a concerted effort to attend this Mission of Honor and show your appreciation for Tony’s willingness to serve and protect your freedom and liberties.
