The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SCPO Butch Ash, U.S. Navy (RET) for his final services and internment on Sunday, 20 Sep 15. SCPO Ash went to be with the Lord on 17 Sep.
Services will be held at Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home, 730 Main Ave., Weston, WV (https://tinyurl.com/ooac5ff) beginning at 1300.
Visitation will be held beginning at 1100 and continuing until start of services.
West Virginia RC Roger Rush (ezdoneit.rr@gmail.com) is the designated Ride Captain in Charge of this most honorable mission, assisted by West Virginia District Captain Randy Rice (440326.rr@gmail.com).
Staging will be at the funeral from 1015-1030.
Mission brief at 1045 with our flag line in place prior to the start of visitation at 1100.
At the conclusion of services, we will set our flag line as Butch is moved to the hearse for his final journey to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Jane Lew, WV (https://tinyurl.com/px73n5a).
Upon arrival at the cemetery, we will maintain a flag line during graveside services and hold it until the family has departed.
Weather forecast for Sunday is for temperatures in the mid to upper 70’s along with a 90% of sunshine. Please dress and travel accordingly, ensuring you keep yourself well hydrated.
As this is a weekend, please put forth the effort to attend as we say “Thank You” and “God Speed” to yet another of our native sons who dedicated so much of his life toward the protection of YOUR freedom and liberty.
