The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SGT Kenneth Raymond Berry, 25, U.S. Army (AD) OEF Veteran, as he returns to his native West Virginia on Saturday, 27 Jun, and again for his final services on Tuesday, 30 Jun 15. SGT Berry lost his life when struck by a car in a tragic accident in Clarksville, TN on Tuesday, 23 Jun.

SGT Berry will be returning to West Virginia on Saturday, 27 Jun, traveling by hearse from Columbus, OH International Airport. His anticipated time of arrival in Parkersburg is approximately 1600. Time is fluid depending on time of departure from Columbus and weather conditions. Contact will be kept with the funeral director.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, 30 Jun 15, at the Celebration Center, 1944 Washington Blvd., Belpre, OH (https://tinyurl.com/p46n58n) beginning at 1300. Visitation will be from 1200 until start of services.

WV District 3 RC Carl Spade (ace_gunsmith@hotmail.com) is the designated Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable Mission.

Staging: 1515

Mission Brief: 1530 then await arrival of the hearse.

Upon learning of their impending arrival, we will set a flag line. We will then move the flag line to the hearse as SGT Berry is moved inside. At that time, Saturday’s portion of this mission will be complete

Staging will be at the Celebration Center.

Staging time: 1115-1130

Mission Brief: 1145

Flag line will be in place prior to the start of visitation and maintained until the start of services.

At the conclusion of services, we will form our flag line as SGT Berry is moved to the hearse for his final journey to Mt Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg, WV (https://tinyurl.com/nf45f7p).

Upon arrival at the cemetery, we will once again set our flag line and maintain it for the duration of graveside services.

Tuesday’s weather forecast is for temperatures in the low 70’s with a 60% chance of showers. Please dress and travel accordingly.
