Army2

The family of Charles Dooley has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand in honor of their departed hero, this Saturday at the Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville, WV. Charles actually served in the Army twice; the first time was of his own choosing, the second was when he was drafted during the Cuban missile crisis.

There will not be an escort for this mission, as the burial will take place at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens which is adjacent to the funeral home. We will be standing a flag line at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, and another flag line for the graveside service (walking distance).

Food, fuel, restrooms are available and there are several other food establishments close by. The Go-mart is approx one mile from the funeral home. I have known this family for quite a few years and they attend my church…it will be an honor for me to stand for Charles, and I hope many of you will be able to attend this mission.

Staging location: Go-Mart, 6302 Sissonville Dr, Charleston, WV (it’s across Rt 21 from the Sissonville High School) https://tinyurl.com/pmq7nul

Staging time: Arrive when you wish, but the mission brief will take place at 0935, KSU at 0945.

Flag line in place: 1000-1100, the service begins at 1100
