ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Sgt James L. Ellis, III, U.S. Marine Corps (Retired) for his final services and interment on Sunday, 14 Jan 18. James went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly on 28 December 2017. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was currently employed as a Small Arms Weapons Specialist Instructor with
Linxx Global Solutions. He was a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Services will be held at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church, 109 S. Main St., Moorefield, WV beginning at 1400.

Flag line will be in place NLT 1300 and maintained until the start of services.

At the conclusion of services, flag line will be set for his dignified transfer to the hearse for his final journey.

Escort will be provided to the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Upon arrival at the cemetery, flag line will be set again and maintained until the conclusion of graveside services.

Early weather forecast is for partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-20’s. Please dress and travel accordingly. In the interest of safety, two-wheels are NOT recommended.
