Garrett Parker

The family of PFC Garrett Craig Parker, USA, has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders provide an escort from the Pittsburgh, PA to the Ford Funeral Home in Bridgeport, West Virginia on Friday, June 6, 2014.  The WV Patriot Guard will join the escort starting from the West Virginia Welcome Center just north of Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia at southbound lanes and mile marker #159 and continuing to the Ford Funeral Home, 215 E. Main Street, Bridgeport, WV (https://www.ford-funeralhome.com/graphics/allen_map.gif).

The family has also requested the PGR to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Garrett at his graveside service on June 9, 2014.

Due to the late arrival time on June 6, 2014, members of the PA PGR have been obtained to show their Honor and Respect upon his return and escort him to the West Virginia Welcome Center (southbound I-79, mile marker #159) where a small contingent of pre-arranged members of the WV PGR will escort him into Bridgeport.  My sincere apologies for limiting participation in this most honorable escort.  It is being limited only for your safety at the direction of the WV State Captain.  If any members would like to be at the funeral home to stand in honor when we arrive, please contact me so I can let you know our ETA at the funeral home (304) 276-3753.
