Welcome Home – 130th AW WV Air National Guard – 10 Jan

Members of the 130th Airlift Wing are returning home from their recent deployment to Afghanistan. They are members of the same squadron to which our ASC-South, Buddy Palla, belonged before he retired, in fact, he was their Chief. These aircraft maintainers have missed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc. with their families, and we will be honored to give them an appropriate welcome home. Stanley Farley, USN Veteran/LEO – Hurricane, WV – 16 Dec

The family of Stanley Farley has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand up a mission of honor for the final services of their loved one. “Stan” was a US Navy veteran, a former WV State Trooper, and served as the Putnam County Sheriff for eight years; he was a true public servant. The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to escort home the 1/150th AVN. BN out of Wheeling, WV after serving an extended tour in Kosovo.  The Patriot Guard Riders where there when they where deployed and are extremely happy to be welcoming our Men and Women home. The Patriot Guard has been invited to send off LCpl. Childers. Caleb lost the lower part of his leg as a result of injuries sustained while serving in Iraq.
