Dedication – PFC Herbert Murphy, USMC VN KIA – Huntington – 21 July

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand up a flag line of honor at a bridge dedication for PFC Herbert Burgess Murphy, USMC; the dedication will take place in Huntington, WV on 21 July at 1100 hours. PFC. Herbert Burgess Murphy served with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, Mike Company. He was killed in Action on May 10, 1969. His name stands proudly on the Mike 3/5 Wall of Honor. Memorial – MAJ (Ret) Byron White, USA VN Veteran – Delbarton, WV – 14 July

Maj (Ret) Byron Wallace White, US Army Vietnam Veteran of two combat tours, from Williamson, WV, passed away last year and is interred in the Alabama Nat’l Cemetery. He began his career in the enlisted ranks then went to OCS. He was also past Commander of the Alabama American Legion. Welcome Home – 130th AW WVANG – Charleston – 12, 14 & 16 July

The Base Commander of the 130th Airlift Wing in Charleston, WV has invited the Patriot Guard to attend three separate welcome home celebrations.
