Capt Joseph Cullinan, WVNG – Wheeling, WV – 14 May

With his family at his bedside, Captain Joseph L. Cullinan, 32, West Virginia Army National Guard, passed away on 4 May after a valiant battle with cancer. Joe served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006-07, where he was pilot-in-command of a UH 60 Blackhawk helicopter, accumulating 540 hours of combat flight time. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of an American Hero. Sergeant Jerry (Hobe) Garrett died on May 5th, 2011. Jerry was an Army and Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Jerry had been suffering with Alzheimers and diabetes for quite some time before his passing. Funeral arrangements were prearranged with interment at the National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV. Capt. Richard D. Clark, USN RET, died 21 Nov 2010 after a courageous struggle with multiple myeloma. Capt. Clark served in Naval Intelligence, Operation Desert Storm and as deputy director of intelligence, Joint Task Force, Southwest Asia.  Upon his retirement in 2000, Capt. Clark served over 42 years.
