Confirmed Mission – CPO Nick Null, USN – Parkersburg, WV – 19, 21 Aug

      The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of Special Operations Chief Nicholas “Nick” Null, 31, to stand in silent Honor and Respect as he makes his final journey home and is laid to rest.    Our participation shall consist of escorting Chief Null upon his return to West Virginia and at his funeral service and interment.     Chief Null is expected to return to West Virginia on FRIDAY, 19 August.  ETA is not yet known…

Confirmed Mission – Cadet Jacob Bowen, 18, USMA – Fairmont – 29 Jul

West Virginia is, once again, in mourning for the passing of Cadet Jacob Bower, 18, from Fairmont.  Jacob was a member of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, class of 2015.  He went to be with the Lord on Thursday, 21 July, while participating in a training exercise at the Academy.      No further details are known at this time.  Contact has been made with CWO Christie Smith, CAO for the family.  She will present our offer to…

BRIDGE DEDICATION BELLE, WV 22 JUL 2011 The Patriot Guard has been invited to stand a flag line for this dedication in honor of Larry K. Conley. Mr. Conley was the Chief of Police in Belle from 1965 until 199l when he retired. During this time he was also very active in many community organizations. The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Maj. Chris Lemaster, West Virginia National Guard, for his memorial service on Sunday, 10 July, in Spencer, WV.
