State Road crews in Summers County are asking for the public’s help, after a soldier’s headstone is found in a ditch. Search continues to find out who Sgt. William H. Information on William H. Moore’s grave says this man was buried in OAK GROVE CEMETERY, McDOWELL County WEST VIRGINA. Can you confirm? Contact info is the Summers County Division of Highways Headquarters at 304-466-2802
The plaque for William H Moore has been returned to its proper location in Oak Grove Cemetery in McDowell county thanks to the efforts of Curt Messer USANG Retired of Hinton. Thanks to all that expressed interest and concern to see this resolved.

My dad Carl was a Army veteran and served in the Korean Conflict He passed away on Wed Oct 3 2018 His service is on Monday Oct 8 here in Prosperity WV Bryant Schallon is a member in Memphis TN and he told me I might be able to get my dad to have u guys as escorts at his funeral on Monday
