The family of Dana L. Nowlin has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand in silent honor for their loved one. Dana was a Cold War-era veteran of the US Air Force and US Army. He was activated for service during the Berlin Crisis. Dana and his wife were avid motorcyclists who traveled to 49 states over a period of 55 years. He was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, and a large contingent of GWRRA members from various states are expected to attend Dana’s final services. We will all be honored to escort Dana on his final ride. This mission will involve an escort approximately 15 miles in distance; if your bike is equipped to safely fly flags, please come prepared to do so.
Please remember your 3×5 flags, and dress for the weather. All riders, groups, clubs are welcome to join with us, as we stand to honor this hero.Date: Saturday, 3 August 2013
