The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to participate in the upcoming bridge dedication ceremonies for Capt. David VanCamp and Sgt. Matthew Hunter. These ceremonies will be on May 24th at 2 p.m., beginning at the bridge by the Bella Via Restaurant in Elm Grove.
This will be a two part ceremony starting with the “S” bridge, by the Bella Via, being named in honor of Sgt. Matthew Hunter. There will then be a group walking parade to the Bridge Street bridge, where the bridge will be named in honor of Capt. David VanCamp. No motorcycles will be needed for this mission.
Further details will be given at the ride briefing.
Staging for these ceremonies will be in the lot behind:

Staging will be at 1 p.m. with ride briefing at 1:15, as to allow us time to form a flag line for the first ceremony.
As we will be standing a flag line at both bridges, all members are asked to bring a 3 x 5 American flag. We will also carry these during the parade. As always, guests are invited.
