The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the upcoming Bataan Death March Survivors memorial ceremony. This will be held at the Brooke County Library in Wellsburg, WV, on April 11th. Survivors, descendants, and dignitaries will be on hand to remember and honor these heroes. Exhibits throughout the day will include many artifacts and displays from this time period, such as rifles, rocket launchers, uniforms, and newspaper clippings. Also on display is silverware from Hitler’s home, various military vehicles, maps, and airplane flight plans for bombing raids.
Staging for this event/ceremony:
9 a.m. – Smith Express Mart

Please park in the packed gravel lot beside the Express mart.
9:30 a.m. – Ride briefing
9:40 a.m. – KSU for a short ride to the library.
At the library, we will form a flag line for the opening ceremonies. After the ceremonies, we will flank people walking to the Elks Lodge for a small ceremony and a dinner. All participants in the day’s events are invited to attend the dinner. They are asking for a small donation to benefit the memorial museum on site.
