The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for PFC Richard (Dick) Stanley, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam Era, for his final services on Saturday, 12 Dec 15, in Elizabeth, WV.

 

Dick is the brother of West Virginia Ride Captain Jerry Stanley.

 

This most honorable mission will consist of escorting Dick from the MathenyWhited Funeral Home, 448 Juliana St., Elizabeth, WV (https://tinyurl.com/hlfzkxa) to the cemetery for graveside services.

 

West Virginia Ride Captain Carl Spade (ace_gunsmith@hotmail.com) is the designated RCIC of this most Honorable mission.

 

Staging will be at the funeral at 1300-1330.

 

Mission briefing at 1330.

 

KSU at 1345 for the short trip to the cemetery.

 

Upon arrival at the cemetery, our flag line will be set and maintained during the services, scheduled to begin at 1400.

 

Early weather forecast is for temperatures in the mid-60’s and an 80% chance of sunshine.  Please dress and travel according to conditions.

 

As this Honorable mission is on a weekend and even though there are other missions happening across West Virginia, please put forth the effort to attend as we say “Thank You” and “God Speed” who willingly gave of his time helping to protect and defend the freedom and liberty YOU enjoy today.
