Honor Mission: Lacy Hurt, USN WWII, Beckley, West Virginia – 07-13-20

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Lacy Hurt, U.S. Navy, WWII Veteran. This will be an escort only, the visitation is family only. Funeral Services are Monday, July 13. Lacy went to be with the Lord on 10 July.


At the age of 16, he enlisted in the Navy, serving as a sniper in the Pacific during World War II. He spent 35 years working at the VA Hospital as a boiler plant operator in Beckley. Throughout his life, the VA remained his second home.

Early weather forecast is for temperatures in the mid-80’s with a 50% chance of showers. Please dress and travel accordingly.
