Cost of Freedom DecalThe Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the 2015 Spirit of ’45 Commemoration, celebrating the end of World War II on Sunday, 16 Aug, at both the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, WV and the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV.

Commemoration in Grafton will be at 1300 and the commemoration in Pruntytown will be at 1500.

As part of the program at both cemeteries, a wreath laying will take place. If possible, a World War II Veteran will be asked to do the wreath laying honors.

West Virginia District 4 RC Buddy Myers (myersbuddy@hotmail.com) is the designated RCIC for both of these most Honorable ceremonies.

Staging will be at the entrance to the National Cemetery, 431 Walnut St., Grafton, WV (https://tinyurl.com/qjk6srj) at 1230.

Briefing at 1240 with flag line in place NLT 1245 and maintained until the end of the ceremony.

Briefing at 1440 with flag line in place NLT 1445 and maintained until the end of the ceremony.

Weather forecast for Sunday is for temperatures in the high 80’s and a 10% chance of showers. Please dress and travel accordingly, ensuring you keep yourself properly hydrated.
