The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Lance Corporal Philip Martin Greathouse, 80 U S Marine Corps Veteran for his final services on Wednesday, 29 September 2021. Philip went to be with the Lord on Friday, 24 September 2021.
Philip was born on June 4, 1941 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late James William Greathouse and Elsie Ann (Stevens) Greathouse.
Philip served his country proudly as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps as a Field Radio Operator. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Philip was a member of the Maine Corps Club of Weirton, WV and volunteered with the Brooke County Pioneer Trail Association, and the Brooke County Museum with his sister, Ruby.
