The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in a Send-Off and Welcome Home for our WWII, Korea and Vietnam Veterans as they travel to Washington, DC on the Honor Flight to view their monuments. Flight will depart and arrive at Tri-State Airport, Huntington, WV.
Those who live nearby and can do it are requested to be there at 0530, if possible. Others, staging will be at 0600 in the Admin lot, between the main terminal and the FBO (look for the PGR flag in the grass, and park in that lot). There will be no flag line in the morning but we will be assisting Veterans getting into the terminal, to the registration tables, directing parking, wheelchairs, whatever we can to assist.
Evening staging will be at 1830 in the same parking lot. Flag line will be set up for their return. We will be out on the ramp for their arrival. It will after dark and possibly cold so please dress and travel accordingly.
