ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been asked by the family of Cpl Jerry E. Williams, USMC Vietnam Era Veteran, to provide escort as he is transported from Franklin, TN to the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown, WV for his final services on 9 and 10 Aug 2018.
This will be a Multi-City/Multi-State escort with numerous stops in Kentucky and West Virginia for fuel, rest and pick-up any additional riders.
Stops in Kentucky will be as follows (all times are approximate/all stops will be 15-20 minutes in duration):
9 August 2018

1530 – Shell Gas Station/McDonalds, 14525 KY-180, Ashland, KY, 41102, exit 185. Approximately 92 miles. Dignified transfer from Kentucky to West Virginia PGR. Approximately 92 miles.
1715 – Go Mart, 2177 Frame Rd, Elkview, WV 25071, Exit 9, I-79N (https://tinyurl.com/ycpu47en). Approximately 75 miles.3:30 pm – Shell Gas Station/McDonalds, 14525 KY-180, Ashland, KY, 41102 Approximately 92 miles.
2000 – Microtel Inn, 201 Conference Center Way, Bridgeport, WV 26330 (https://tinyurl.com/y8t6tyjn). Conclusion of escort for 9 Aug. Please ensure your fuel is topped off as this is the longest leg of the escort (approximately 115 miles).
