The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for one of our own, Stephen Wright, West Virginia Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 13 Dec 16.
Services will be on Saturday, 17 Dec 16, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Morgan St., Pine Grove, WV (https://tinyurl.com/gn57ye5) beginning at 1100.
West Virginia Ride Captain Ed Gill (egillsdare@yahoo.com) is the designated Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable mission.
Staging will be at the funeral home at 0930.
Mission brief at 0945 with our flag line in place NLT 1000, being maintained until the start of services.
Interment will follow in Reader, WV at an, as of yet, unknown cemetery. Escort will, in all likelihood, be provided. Due to the expected weather conditions, bikes are NOT recommended at the cemetery.
Early weather forecast for Saturday is for a high probability of rain with temperatures in the low 50’s. Please dress and travel according to conditions at the time.
