The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SP4 Ronald McCormick, U.S. Army, Vietnam Veteran for his final services and interment on Sunday, 24 May 15.
West Virginia District 4 Ride Captain Mike “Boonie” Jarvis (dolittle202@gmail.com) is the designated RCIC of this most honorable mission.
Staging and flag line will be at the VFW Post 573, 430 W. Pike St., Clarksburg, WV (https://tinyurl.com/llqgh9x).
Staging time: 0930.
Mission brief: 0945.
Flag line will be in place NLT 1000 until the family arrives.
Departure for internment will be at 1100.
Internment will be at the Bridgeport Cemetery, 400 Benedum Dr., Bridgeport, WV (https://tinyurl.com/ovsqzrk).
Upon conclusion of internment services, all in attendance are invited to return to VFW Post 573 for refreshments and to view a documentary of SP4 McCormick’s life.
Prior to departing for this most honorable mission, please check your local weather then dress and travel accordingly. Above all else, be sure you keep yourself well hydrated.
