The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for Maj. Chris Lemaster, West Virginia National Guard, for his memorial service on Sunday, 10 July, in Spencer, WV. Chris went to be with Lord on 29 June, leaving behind his wife, Kelly, and young sons, Ethan and Caleb.

Maj. Lemaster served our Country honorably, having done two tours in the Sandbox as a member of the 111th Engineering Brigade, WVNG, and his community as a member of the Huntington, WV Police Department. At the time of his passing he was a Command Security Officer with the DOD in Clarksburg, WV.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, 10 July, beginning at 1600 and are tentatively scheduled to take place at the Boggs Fork Community Church, Boggs Fork Road, US Route 33, approximately 2-3 miles outside Spencer. Due to the large crowd that is expected, services MAY be moved to Roane County High School, US Route 119. Our participation will only consist of standing our flag line prior to the commencement of services. There will be NO escort.

Staging will be at the WV National Guard Armory, 207 E. Main St., Spencer, WV beginning at 1415. KSU will be at 1430 for the short (10-15 minute) ride to the church. Flag line will be in place NLT 1500 and maintained until start of services, at which time members will be released.

Ride Captain assignment has yet to be made.
