Korean War Veteran

The family members of George Kirk have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of their father at his memorial service, this Wednesday, June 10th, at Maranatha Baptist Church. George was a United States Army, Korean War veteran who loved his country deeply and served America with honor on foreign soil. But his love for his country was second to his love for the Lord; George was a faithful member of Maranatha Baptist Church who served as a head usher for many years…he will be greatly missed by the entire church “family”. He was also long-time friend of WVPG member Buddy Palla.

This will be a flag-line only mission and will take place during the 2-hour visitation period, prior to the memorial service. Once the service begins at 7:00 pm, the mission will terminate. Even if your schedule will only allow you to participate for a portion of the mission, I would like to encourage you to come out and help us honor this hero.

Current weather forecast for Wednesday at mission time is clear and sunny with temps in the upper 80s; please dress/hydrate accordingly.
