ABOUT THE MISSION:
This ceremony will honor the fallen, and the survivors form this historic event. Survivors, descendants, and dignitaries will be on hand to speak, and also many youth military organizations. A memorial wreath will be placed in the Ohio River to honor the fallen heroes. Exhibits throughout the day will include a full bivouac set up, as well as artifacts from this time period. There will also be an introduction to the new wing added to the museum.

We will form a flag line for the presentation of colors by the Tri-State Marine Corps League, and for the following ceremonies, including of a memorial wreath placed in the Ohio River by the Young Marines of Washington. This will include escorting the veteran/survivors in a “Memorial Walk” back to the Elk’s Lodge for inside ceremonies and a luncheon for the survivors, and families. Further details will be given at the ride briefing.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
