ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for 2LT Clarence L. Dragoo, U.S. Army Air Corps, for his final services and interment on Saturday, 14 Oct 17.

LT Dragoo was a Navigator aboard a B-24 bomber that was shot down over Northern Italy during WWII. The wreckage of the plane was found in the Adriatic Sea in 1987 and his remains were only recently ID’d.

Flag line will be in place NLT 1000 and maintained until start of services at 1100.

At the conclusion of services, our flag line will be set again for his dignified transfer to the hearse for his final journey.

Escort WILL be provided to the cemetery in Sandyville, WV.

Upon arrival at the cemetery, flag line will be set and maintained until the conclusion of graveside services.

Early weather forecast is for sunny skies with temperatures in the low to mid 80’s. Please dress and travel accordingly.

If able to fly large flags during the escort, please ensure they are securely mounted.
