The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in silent Honor and Respect during the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans ceremony in Parkersburg City Park on Saturday, 29 March 2014

Ceremony will be very short with only 1 or 2 of our Vietnam Veterans sharing their experiences followed by a rifle volley performed by the Marine Corps League.  There will be no dignataries on the program. Ceremony begins at 1100.

West Virginia District 3 RC Carl Spade (ace_gunsmith@hotmail.com) is the designated RCIC of this most honorable mission.

Staging will be just inside the entrance of City Park at 1015.  Briefing will be at 1030 and KSU will be precisely at 1045.

Once we arrive at the Veteran’s Memorial, we will stand silently with our flags directly behind the podium and maintain our line until the conclusion of the ceremony.  We anticipate this will less than one hour.

It makes no difference what your mode of travel is.  What does matter is that you do whatever you need to do to show all of our Vietnam Veterans how much you appreciate their service to YOUR Country and say “Welcome Home”.

Respects,

Joe
