I was blessed to serve for yet another mission on 01/28/2014, as Ride Captain and personal friend, when Tony Sullivan was returned to his home. The weather was very hot between minus 15 below and minus 8 below. We had a nice turnout for a weekday mission and with the weather issues. Five Patriot Guard Members and the Founder of the Veteran Bikers were in attendance. Was totally surprised when Buddy Myers came riding in on his Harley with the granddaughter in a two piece bikini (Sorry, wrong mission).

With the inclement weather we formed a flag line at the rear of the church for the visitation. Once the service started, we terminated the flag line and then reassembled outside at the conclusion of the service for the Honor Guard Firing Squad and Flag Folding Honors. The outside portion was very short but a first in procedural format. There was no cemetery service.

We were all invited to another local Methodist Church following the service for refreshments. Everyone was ready for heat more than anything else. I know Tony was also proud of the services rendered. Thanks to everyone who attended that went above and beyond at this mission.

    Great job!!!
