The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SGT Joseph Paul Hitt, U.S. Army, Desert Storm Veteran and Lewis County EMS for his final services and internment on Sunday, 05 Jul 15.  Joseph went to be in the Lord’s Army on Tuesday, 30 Jun 15.

Services will be at the Pat Boyles Funeral Home, 144 Hackers Creek Rd., Jane Lew, WV (http://www.patboylefuneralhome.com/_mgxroot/page_10749.php) beginning at 1400.

West Virginia Ride Captain John Brown (kz800c@yahoo.com) is the designated RCIC of this most Honorable Mission.

Staging will be at the funeral home at 1130PLEASE, arrive as quietly as possible as there is family only viewing from 1115 until 1200.

Mission briefing at 1145.

Flag line in place NLT 1200 and maintained until the start of services.

At the conclusion of services, flag line will be set at Joseph is moved to the hearse for his final ride to Forest Lawn & Garden Cemetery, Jane Lew, WV, a distance of approximately 4 miles.

Upon arrival at the cemetery, our flag line will be set once again and maintained until the family departs.

Weather forecast for Sunday is for temperatures in the high 80’s with a 60% of sunshine.  Please ensure you keep yourself properly hydrated.  Dress and travel accordingly.

Realizing this is a holiday weekend, if there is any way you can spare a few hours to come out and say “Thank You” and “God Speed” to another of our native sons who so willingly served, not only our great Country but also the citizens of Lewis County, that would be greatly appreciated by the family.

SHORT NOTICE – CONFIRMED – SGT Kenneth R. Berry, US Army (AD), OEF Veteran – Belpre, OH/Parkersburg, WV – 27 & 30 Jun 15

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SGT Kenneth Raymond Berry, 25, U.S. Army (AD) OEF Veteran, as he returns to his native West Virginia on Saturday, 27 Jun, and again for his final services on Tuesday, 30 Jun 15. SGT Berry lost his life when struck by a car in a tragic accident in Clarksville, TN on Tuesday, 23 Jun.

SGT Berry will be returning to West Virginia on Saturday, 27 Jun, traveling by hearse from Columbus, OH International Airport. His anticipated time of arrival in Parkersburg is approximately 1600. Time is fluid depending on time of departure from Columbus and weather conditions. Contact will be kept with the funeral director.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, 30 Jun 15, at the Celebration Center, 1944 Washington Blvd., Belpre, OH (http://tinyurl.com/p46n58n) beginning at 1300. Visitation will be from 1200 until start of services.

WV District 3 RC Carl Spade (ace_gunsmith@hotmail.com) is the designated Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable Mission.

Staging: 1515

Location: Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, WV (http://tinyurl.com/nn9jr8h).

Mission Brief: 1530 then await arrival of the hearse.

Upon learning of their impending arrival, we will set a flag line. We will then move the flag line to the hearse as SGT Berry is moved inside. At that time, Saturday’s portion of this mission will be complete

Staging will be at the Celebration Center.

Staging time: 1115-1130

Mission Brief: 1145

Flag line will be in place prior to the start of visitation and maintained until the start of services.

At the conclusion of services, we will form our flag line as SGT Berry is moved to the hearse for his final journey to Mt Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg, WV (http://tinyurl.com/nf45f7p).

Upon arrival at the cemetery, we will once again set our flag line and maintain it for the duration of graveside services.

Tomorrow’s weather forecast is for temperatures in the low 70’s with a 90% chance of showers/thundershowers. PLEASE, if you plan to attend, do so in a cage, for your own safety and welfare.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for SSgt William A. “Bill” Cokeley, U.S. Air Force, Korean Veteran for his final services and internment on Friday, 19 Jun 15.  Bill went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 16 Jun.

Bill is the Grandfather of WV PGR member Heather Cumblidge and former Father-in-Law of WV State Captain Joe Cumblidge.

Services will be held at Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville, WV (http://tinyurl.com/opz3ky3) beginning at 1100.

West Virginia State Captain Joe Cumblidge (wvugo2001@suddenlink.net) is the Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable mission.

Staging will be in the parking lot located directly North of the Par Mar, 701 Chelsea St., Sistersville, WV (http://tinyurl.com/q42suu6).

Staging time will be at 0930.

Mission brief at 0945 with KSU at 0950.  Funeral home is located one (1) block South of the staging area.

Flag line will be in place NLT 1000 and maintained until start of services.

At the conclusion of services, our flag line will be set once again as Bill is moved to the hearse for his final journey.

Escort will be provided to Paden Memorial Gardens, North of Paden City, WV.  Cemetery is located approximately 5 miles from the funeral home.

Upon arrival, flag line will be set and maintained during graveside services.

Early weather is for mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-80’s and a 75% chance of showers.

Understanding this is a work day under less than ideal conditions, if at all possible, please try to be there as we say “Thank You” and “God Speed” to another of our Veterans from what is commonly known  The Forgotten War.

At the conclusion of services, flag line will be reestablished as Thomas is moved to the hearse for his final journey to Grandview Memorial Gardens, approximately 4 miles from the funeral home.

Upon arrival, flag line will be set and maintained as he is moved to the burial site, for graveside services.

Services will be held at the Quiet Dell United Methodist Church, 96 Trinity Road, Mt. Clare, WV (http://www.quietdellumc.us/directions.htm) beginning at 1030.

Internment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell, WV which is within sight of the church.

Staging will be at the church at 0900.

Mission briefing at 0915.

Flag line will be in place NLT 0930 and maintained until start of services.
