The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked by the family of U.S. Army Major Jeffrey Hackett, to escort him to his final resting place at the National
Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
This will be a two part mission. Preliminary details are as follows:

Part 1: Saturday, July 14, we will escort Maj. Hackett from the Pittsburgh Airport to the Chambers and James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV, 26037.

Staging will be at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. We will escort the family to the airport where we will meet Maj. Hackett and escort him back to
the funeral home.
Anyone flying flags on their bike or cage is asked to make sure they are highway speed road worthy. As always, watch the weather and dress accordingly. Details will be addressed at a short ride briefing at the funeral home. Please be prompt in your arrival.

Ron “ron1ok” Jones (ron1ok@comcast.net), WV ASC-North, will be the RC for this part of the mission.

Part 2: Burial will be Tuesday, July 17, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:30 p.m.

Staging will be at the funeral home at 12 noon. We will leave the funeral home at around 12:30 to escort Maj. Hackett and family to the National
Cemetery for a graveside service. We will stand a flag line at the cemetery. All participants are asked to bring a 3 X 5 American flag for the flag line. 
Again, watch the weather and dress accordingly.
